In my bachelor's thesis I deal with the issue of escapism - i.e.the desire to escape from reality (through computer games, daydreaming, an escape into the world of fantasy etc.). The reason I chose this theme lies in my personal desire to escape - from certain people's emotional prison, from certain types of traumas, which, within the space of years, sometimes emerge on the surface and influence my present life as well as my future. My medium of choice was large scale painting on canvas. Into these paintings, I have tried to project my feelings of indecision, anxiety and expectation. I believe the theme to be relevant int the whole socio-cultural context, and not just in the last three years, though I do feel the need to escape from reality to be more sought after by people in the context of the wider present.

The task reflects actual occasions of cities, specifically of Brno. The main aim is finding the most appropriate utilization of unused place defined by streets (Milady Horakova, Francouzska and Cernopolni). Relevant part of analyzing the place most convinced the design, these papers use public materials. Urban design enhance this location with new functions, specially residential, commercial and public space. Gentrification is one of the most interesting opportunities for designing enrichment of this location. The design of choosen objects seek for quality, sustainable, modern living in city with defined space.

Masters thesis works with concepts such as home intimacy, safety, system, etc. During the period from 16.1.2012 to 12.3.2012 author secretly penetrated into the apartment their parents and disrupted by subtle interventions to break the routine like their home. Secretly watched the behavior and rules which operate on her parents (with their parents she dont live). The intervention provoked to a specific form of interaction between author and her family.

State of Security

The diploma thesis consists of a series of paintings recording situations that evoke experiences of security gained through the personal experience of a new family. An important role in the work is played by the expression of physicality, which is very closely connected with intimacy and security.

I Live Tarot

Private deck of cards created during six-month survey and documentation of daily experiences. The package contains 49 cards and it is inspired by a set of 78 tarot cards. Text content - reverse side of the card was created using diary notes. Face side of the card was chosen as a representation of processes taking place usually in days when the card was read.

Riverside House

The location is situated in the area along the Svitava river, regulated for economic reasons at the turn of the 20th century. As the values are evolving, it is nowadays highly desirable to live by the river while having the view of the still flowing water. The aim of the thesis is to increase the attractiveness of today's inhospitable place and to offer the inhabitants a pleasant environment for living since no matter how superb the house is, the lack of a fine environment lowers its value. The proposal is based on the use of platforms as an ideal means of defining the hierarchy of spaces.

Health and safety protection at a selected secondary vocational school

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of health and safety protection in the environment of a selected secondary vocational school and related health risks and the possibility of accidents. The aim of the work will be to identify weaknesses in the field of health and safety protection at the selected secondary school based on a questionnaire survey and, based on the results, to propose methods and possibilities for increasing awareness of health and safety protection, as the basic conditions for compliance with the rules of health and safety protection at school by the pupils themselves. The output of the work will be not only knowledge of the real situation of practicing health and safety at a selected secondary school, but also a proposal of how to better inform pupils and also involve them in the process of how they themselves can take care of their own health and safety protection in the school environment. Part of the output of the work will also be a recommendation to the school staff in the direction of the adequacy of the methods used to educate pupils in the field of health and safety protection at school. The phenomenon of home and its importance for education

The aim of this diploma thesis is to describe the importance and significance of the home phenomenon in terms of the education of the human individual. The work captures the development of views on this issue from the perspective of ancient, Czech and world philosophers. The philosophy of the home will be further discussed from the point of view of Patočka and Lévinas. The work will also try to offer some answers to some current questions of society, which relate to the home and its loss. The issue of education and care for the soul are also discussed.
